2FA stands for Two Factor Authentication and it adds an extra layer of security to your online accounts. The authentication check generates an email or text with a code, or requires you to use an authentication app to generate a code, which is needed in addition to an email and password combination in order to access an account. Meta will not allow any accounts without 2FA to be added to Business Manager. With all the password breaches that seem to happen on a regular basis, 2FA is another of our “not negotiables” and anyone in our business or your business who has access to your account must have 2FA set up.

2FA is not a guarantee you will never get hacked but it’s the best (so far) line of defence to keep your business assets secure.
